Powertrain
Forklifts must be really tough to last for hours of operation in many extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these equipment need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast. The dependable, rugged Yale powertrain provides superior durability through its computer controlled transmission and engine, extremely robust gears and shafts and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated in order to reduce vibration and noise within the compartment of the operator.
Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck must be really reliable and durable for the most demanding cold/hot and wet/dry operations. There is much sophistication needed to be able to control truck functionality.
Yale trucks are known for delivering reliable electronics. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and reduces wiring and reduces electrical connections as well. This results in improved reliability and remarkable serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force required to lift heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Several of these components include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned to be able to prolong component life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
The Yale forklift can withstand the most extreme working situations coming out on top with their great reliability. These machinery have been built in such a precise way that attention to detail has been considered in order to keep the operator as comfortable as possible.
