Narrow Aisle Forklift
Used to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires which make maneuvering simple.
The operator of this particular type of forklift generally stands up inside a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the back. This configuration enables for fast and easy maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to reposition the whole machine. The sit-down version normally has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered equipment are not noisy and do not make exhaust fumes, making them the preferred option for closed areas like retail spaces. Several lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. Nevertheless, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor use since it could be quite noisy and produce exhaust.
