Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer various optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the boom's extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
