The narrow aisle forklift has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale produces the double reach NDR and single reach NR models that are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations and use best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: There are numerous control handle configurations that meet a range of operations as well as a choice of fore and aft stance or side-stance options also.
AC Motor Technology: This technology offers strong acceleration and deceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been designed for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the durability and rigidity of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity, Yale offers industry leading uploading speeds and lowering speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: The regenerative lowering is a terrific feature which maintains lower oil operating temperature while reducing battery changes per shift.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician could adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator exhaustion. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also known as very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks. These machinery are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors lift both the load and the operator to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Like the majority of turret trucks they are normally guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
