Kinds

Cushion trucks, narrow aisles and pneumatic trucks are only among the different kinds of forklift trucks manufactured by Clark. The various kinds differ in terms of the way they operate. Like for example, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for agriculture and construction run on an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle types designed to be utilized within warehouses and various other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.



Lifting Capacity

According to the kind of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity could vary. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are recommended. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.



Engine

AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine types have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed types.



Frame/Cab

The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, trans-axle, wheels and transmission.
